Standby mode:

Issue: Some people complain that their LG TV makes a beeping noise while it is on standby mode.

Signals from the remote:

Issue: The beeping noise might be coming from your TV when it receives a signal from the remote.

A capacitor is a common electrical appliance that has the tendency to burn and waste after a while.

You can either contact an expert to replace the capacitor or follow these steps yourself (only if you consider yourself an expert and are aware of the dangers of this operation):

Unscrew the back of the TV.
If you do not see the capacitor, disassemble the protective shell.
